e-llegiance™ is a rule-based engine that can be integrated with any POS terminal payment software, or any other application, such as transportation, gaming, access, security, or telecommunications, allowing the dynamic awarding and instant redemption of custom designed consumer incentives. Loyalty programs can be designed for a single merchant, or a merchant coalition, and can award any type of points, currency, or discounts.

The on-card database allows programs to be added dynamically, and assures that only the minimum amount of allocated card memory is used. This structure allows any number of loyalty programs to be carried on the card, limited only by the amount of memory in the chip.
